Work was brutal today holy shit.
This one government project manager was a total jerk to everybody and spent the day nitpicking at really small stuff like parking rather than managing the actual hospital construction project at hand (the thing that we’re all being paid to do). Then at around 10am she dumped a huge load of assignments on us to be due at a 1:30pm meeting, which dragged into the 3:30pm she also planned, both of which none of us knew about until this morning.
The one good thing that I took away from today was that the meeting had a total of 20 individuals and I think, except for me, most of the people attending the meeting were in their 30s and up. It was intimidating but really interesting because I believe 6 of those individuals were doctors/surgeons/physicians. It was just really cool to sit in for an inter-profession meeting.

JC: Who or what is inspiring you at the moment?
JC: What are you up to right now?
KR: Getting ready to leave for Mexico.
JC: Have you had mentors along the way?
JC: Where are you based right now and how is it shaping you?
KR: I’ve been in southern California for the last month and learning how to shoot people better.
JC: One piece of advice to photography graduates?
KR: Shoot only what inspires you.
JC: If all else fails - what is your plan B?
KR: I don’t have one.
JC: Is it important to you to be a part of a creative community?
KR: Yeah. I think any artist likes to hear feedback on their work and a creative community is a great place for that.
